ABC Television’s What Would You Do? is a television show that examines social behavior. It places actors in situations to gauge the reaction of unsuspecting individuals who must make a decision on whether to intervene or remain silent. The show’s host John Quinones then asks parties from both ends of the spectrum, why they chose to remain silent, or why they intervened. It’s fascinating to hear the responses and I find myself asking, “What would I do if I were in that situation?”
There have been some great episodes in the past but I’ve been unable to find any of them on ABC’s website or on YouTube but here is a recent episode that gave me a good laugh. I’ve witnessed a similar scenario played out a local food joint. What did I do? Nothing. Would I do something if I had the chance to go back? I’m really not sure but I’d like to think that I would.
